This is an original drawing by Jankel Adler and as probably painted in the early 1940's.
Provenance: Acquired by the grandfather of the previous owner in the south of France (possibly in Cagnes sur Mer) in the 1940's directly from the artist.
Exhibited: Water-Colours and Draings by Jankel Adler (1895-1949), The Leicester Galleries, Leicester Square, London, October 1951.
Condition: Good condition. Light handling creases. Some scattered foxing.
