The book: The text "Les Descriptions Merveilleuses" was written by Juan Bautista Pineiro and translated in French by Francois Xavier Jaujard. The book, which consists of 10 different chapters, is illustrated with 10 original etchings by Leonor Fini.
The portfolio was printed in 1973 in a limited edition of only 220.
The portfolio is numbered on the justification page "No.117".
It is also hand signed in pencil on the justification page by Leonor Fini.
The etchings were printed by Dominique Viglino, printer d'Art a Bourg-la-Reine.
