This work is hand signed and dated "Sinai 57" at the lower right part.
It was painted in France in 1957.
Provenance: The collection of Uri and Rami Nehostan, the Art Museum in Ashdot Yaacov, Israel. The work bears the Museum label verso.

After studying in the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Marseille between 1933 to 1939, he was drafted to the army and became a prisoner of war.
After his return, he enrolled to the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris at the studio of Gaston Souverbie.
He praticipted in Paris in the Salon d'Automne, Salon des Artistes Français and the Salon des Indépendants where he became a member from 1948.
Condition: Good condition. Two small repaired holes. Unexamined out of the frame.
