This original lithograph in colours is hand signed by the artist in pencil "Sam Francis" at the lower right of centre.
It is also hand inscribed “pour M. Matthieu” [For Mister Matthieu], at the lower left of centre. It is a printer’s proof dedicated to the printer Emil Matthieu aside from the standard edition of 18.
It was printed by Emil Matthieu at Emil Matthieu Atelier, Zurich and published by Kornfeld and Klipstein, Bern in 1960.
